In a celebration of the 2nd Presidential Kite Festival. This event was planned wherein cadets from 1st to 3rd year were distributed to 8 distinct teams. Every team displayed a remarkable teamwork and collaboration in creating the extraordinary kites Last February 4,2024 at the MMMA Grandstand.
We celebrated the event with the Academy President, Dr. Michael C. Morales, his lovely wife, Mrs. Lilian Morales, and his son, Mr. Blaise Josh Morales. As well as our Formation Officers, Head OCA, and special guest. There presence boost a greater energy to the participants as they launched and set sail in facing the greater winds forward to victory.
At the conclusion of the event, teams 3 secured the second and team 8 as third place, respectively, while team 5 was crowned the overall champion. Team 8 and 1 also received a special award as their kites outstands out as the Daring design the remaining teams still received consolation prices. Indeed, Basta Marino Talentado! With MMMA strong leadership characteristics and outstanding performance, the maritime industry’s future appears brighter than ever as these cadets maintain their commitment to excellence.
