The MOL Magsaysay Maritime Academy celebrated English Month on June 8, 2024, under the theme Anchored in Diversity: Exploring Cultural Exchange in Maritime Trade. For a day filled with insightful declamations and insightful debate, the cadets who have competitively showcased their understanding support their arguments with evidence, such as facts, statistics, quotes from experts, and logical reasoning in the maritime industry, have shared information and impressed our Judges and Formation officers. That day, they look at how English may bring us together, inspire us, and help us express our inner perspectives.
Additionally, as part of the celebrations for English Month, the cadets must improve not just their English skills, but also their ability to critically think about the connection of technology and tradition in marine matters. It demonstrated their intelligence, creativity, and commitment to developing their skills beyond standard learning places. These activities contribute to the cadets’ development and progress in their daily lives at the academy, as well as their preparation for the upcoming seafaring industry.
