To honor the dedication and perseverance of our compatriots who secured our present freedom, the academy held a Freedom Run Marathon on June 12, 2024. This marathon offered 3-kilometer, 5-kilometer, and 10-kilometer courses, each distance serving as a symbolic journey that recalls the challenges they faced in their fight for our lasting liberty.

Participants, renowned for uniting a diverse range of people in a shared challenge, transform into powerful mirrors reflecting the unified effort that secured our freedom. Just as independence wasn’t achieved by a single person, but by a multitude of individuals working together, the act of running alongside fellow participants, each pushing their limits, becomes a symbolic echo of that historical struggle. This experience, shared by the cadets, reinforces the idea that freedom is not just a right we hold dear, but a powerful symbol of the enduring strength found in unity.

More than just a race, the Freedom Run Marathon was a powerful tribute. By pushing themselves physically, the cadets paid homage to the legacy of their forebears and recommitted themselves to cherishing the hard-won freedom. The event deepened their understanding of the academy’s core values, reminding them of the importance of perseverance and dedication. The spirit of those who secured our freedom became a tangible inspiration, motivating the cadets to carry that torch forward.
