The Fleet of Sports ensures that all cadets at the academy are physically and mentally fit, as it is crucial for their readiness for work. The academy conducts morning calisthenics, which involve using body weight to perform exercises like push-ups, crunches, road runs, and squats. The Physical Fitness Development Program (PFDP) is designed for underweight and overweight cadets, requiring them to exercise more regularly. The Physical Fitness Test is conducted at the end of each semester to assess cadets’ physical capabilities. The tests include pull-ups, flex hangs, sit-ups, push-ups, and a 3.2 km run. The Hercules Challenge is a special program for cadets who want to be physically fit and reduce their weight. The Fleet of Sports aims to maintain a healthy lifestyle for all cadets, but proper discipline and consistent efforts are essential for achieving better physical well-being. Taking care of one’s body is an investment in one’s self, and consistent efforts can yield significant results.
